This phase involves the execution of each activity and task defined in the Project Plan. During the Build phase, you need to monitor all of part of the activities listed below and that have been defined during the planning phase.
During the execution phase, indicators and scorecards help you have a high level vision of what's going on in the project and initiate corrective actions if anything is not according to the plan.
The project build phase includes the following key elements:
Complete the project deliverables
Monitor project schedules, budget, and status
Monitor risks and issues, taking action when necessary
